Fun Placecards

4 September 2008 63 views One Comment

Has your caterer asked you to indicate on your place cards your guests entree selections? Instead of a system of colored dots – use pre-cut cards in your colors and fun stamps. We used a plump chicken and a cow to indicate Chicken or Beef at a recent wedding. The bride’s colors were orange and red, so we picked orange cards, sparkly red ink stamps and wrote in guests names with a gel pen.

We may have been at a fancy venue, but who said we had to be stuffy? It fit the bride’s personality and brought a since of intimacy and fun to the tables.

For fun, affordable and stylish wedding stationery, we like Marry Me! by hellolucky.com. We think these designs stack up just fine alongside their more pricey lines!

My daughter is going to follow the directions to make her own placecards as it is less expensive and also very personal. It is nice to be able to do this with her maid of honor and attendants. Will be making it a party night.
